Hamouda stressed his company’s commitment to providing the latest technologies in the field of seeds and developing the best types to meet the varying needs of farmers in the Egyptian market, specifically high-yielding strains that resist climate change and soil problems.

He said that Techno Seeds is striving to increase its market share to 25% during the coming year, armed with its ability to provide high-quality varieties in addition to its possession of a wide distribution network covering all parts of the Republic, with 18 agents and 250 distributors and traders, which achieves the greatest ability to spread.

Hamouda stressed that corn production represents about 75% of TechnoSides’ total products, noting that the company’s market share is about 15% and we aim to reach 25% next year.

Regarding presence in foreign markets, Hamouda said that the company is adopting a strategy to increase its exports to about 30% during 2025, compared to about 20% currently, by intensifying its presence in current markets such as Algeria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Sudan, in addition to the company’s efforts to penetrate some new markets.

Hamouda pointed out that participation in the Sahara Exhibition is very important to strengthen our relationship with external customers and foreign delegations that visited the pavilion, including African, Arab, Indian, Chinese and Russian delegations.

He continued by saying: The current participation in the Sahara Exhibition is the third, and we are proud to be the golden sponsor of this important exhibition.

Regarding the current and future status of the agricultural sector in Egypt, Hamouda said that the agricultural sector is the backbone of the Egyptian economy, and it is a very vital sector that grows significantly annually, especially since crops are one of the most important sectors that achieve good performance at the level of export at present.

Hamouda identified 7 basic factors that would support, assist and stimulate agricultural investment in Egypt, including reviewing agricultural policies and supporting farmers through a suitable guaranteed price for farmers, as well as horizontal and vertical expansion by increasing the agricultural area and improving the quality of crops.

He stressed that among the factors is the necessity of having Egyptian seed companies capable of providing good varieties that can confront soil problems and weather factors, in addition to the necessity of farmers’ commitment to preparing the land and preparing the soil and taking good care of crops in terms of providing pesticides and good irrigation methods.

Hamouda called on the government to work on attracting major local and international companies to invest in the Egyptian agricultural sector, similar to what is happening in the real estate sector, explaining that the Egyptian market is very promising and encouraging for investment, especially in the field of export crops that Egypt enjoys, such as citrus fruits, strawberries and others.
